Page 11 is segments of an article I pulled from ElliotGallery, and underlined segments that I felt related to my own personal design process and values: '"We create for 'the induvidual' and follow our instinct rather than the trend."', '...relationships between oddly juxtaposed objects and images that would never otherwise have existed together.', '"We are about putting together two things that should never meet. They shouldn't work or fit, but once you place them there, somehow they do."'.

This is further exploration of colour, conveyed through a design of shoes. There was no reason for this which makes it a bit of a pointless endeavour looking back, although it is an interesting way of communicating a potential colour palette.

My note reads: 'I really like to combine more neutral and dark colours - brown, navy, mauve, black - with those more vibrant colours. I believe that when done unapologetically and with confidence, the visual 'clash' can be pleasant as a design statement.'
